Craft-in-the-Courtyard: A wee Wood Fayre

Come and enjoy the Spring Bank Holiday in the woods - with our friendly Wood Fayre, demonstrations and drop-in workshops from member artists and makers. Pop-up food, local drinks and bluebell walks.

  • Wood-fired Pizza by Yoni and Molly (from 11.30am to 3pm)

  • Drinks - including local beer - from The Hatch (10am-4pm)

  • Arts and Crafts in the Courtyard come and watch or get involved with our talented member makers who will be creating beautiful items to celebrate the spring.

    • Hewing (axe work) with Victor

    • Carve a letter into wood with Simon and Kate

    • Tyler with his popular chopping boards - available for purchase while stocks last!

    • Make a collaborative shave horse with Kent

    • Bowl turning on a pole lathe with Amy Leak

    • Wood splitting with Mike

    • Fire-lighting the traditional way - with Gazza at his bushcraft stall (£5.00 per person, drop in)

    • Meet the photographer Keith Lovegrove with his wonderful new book, Woodlanders - for sale for £25 (discounted from £30) to visitors of the wood
