Crafts-in-the-Courtyard: A wee Wood Fayre

Come and enjoy the Spring Bank Holiday in the woods - with our friendly Wood Fayre, demonstrations and drop-in workshops from member artists and makers. Pop-up food, local drinks and bluebell walks.

  • Wood Fired Pizza from Cashew Catering (from 11.30am to 3pm)

  • Drinks - including local beer - from The Hatch (10am-4pm)

  • Workshops - spring foraging walk and wild tea making with Katy Wisefone

  • Arts and Crafts in the Courtyard come and watch or get involved with our amazingly talented member makers who will be creating beautiful items to celebrate the Spring!

    • Carve a letter into wood with Simon Page

    • Create woodland wildlife sculptures with Martin Brockman

    • Learn how to draw a woodland bird with Jennifer Moore - and buy a log-book

    • Bowl turning on a pole lathe with Amy Leak

    • Try a pottery wheel with Yoni (£5.00 per person drop in)

    • Fire-lighting the traditional way - with Gazza at his bushcraft stall (£5.00 per person drop in)

    • Watch Adele Scantlebury at work with her wood-block prints

    • Watch Tyler making his popular chopping boards - and purchase a board while stocks last!
