The 250 member households of Wilderness Wood are its lifeblood. They come from all over Sussex and Kent - and as from as far as Switzerland. They all love being outdoors and helping out.
Members contribute their money, time and diverse talents to the wood and its community in exchange for working, playing, sleeping, learning and celebrating in its various spaces.
Members have free access to the wood for walks and picnics during public opening hours; can book spaces for BBQs, parties and group activities; attend member working parties and seasonal celebrations such as May Day and Winter Solstice; benefit from discounts and priority booking on courses and workshops; and have first choice of Christmas trees in the field!
Membership runs from May to May but contact us if you would like to join at a different time and we will try to help.
