Christmas Trees and Winter Fayre

Beautiful locally grown trees of different species and sizes available to choose from in the festive courtyard.

Soak up the atmosphere with chestnuts and mulled cider over the fire; music and craft demos and:

  • Woodfired pizzas from 11.30am to 5pm, made and served by Cashew Catering

  • Sussex Coffee Trucks are returning with their beautiful vintage van ‘Claude’, serving barista coffee and hot chocolates throughout the day.

  • Local vineyard Beacon Down will be in the Cookhouse serving glasses of their award winning sparkling wine and selling bottles for special Christmas gifts.

  • Health and Wellbeing in the Meeting House - herbal teas, bath salts, creams and oils, treatment vouchers and much more

  • Make your own Christmas decorations and reindeer at our courtyard craft station.

  • Browse and buy beautiful gifts and decorations made by local artists and makers, including:

    • Jennifer Moore with her bird-inspired art work

    • Jemima Taylor with hand-made jewellery

    • Valerie Letley’s glass decorations: www.glassophony.com

    • Gazza and his bushcraft essentials - from paleolithic pouches, primitive and modern fire lighting kits, leather goods and other curiosities made from wood, bone and stone

      If you are buying or collecting a Christmas Tree, admission is free of charge - if you are not coming for a christmas tree, please pay admission at The Hatch on arrival. £4 per person or £15 for a family/group arriving in one car.

9am to 10am is the early bird slot - come in and grab a tree and a hot-chocolate while we put the finishing touches to the stalls for the day.
