A wood fired kiln for the woods

The woods have had a host of craftspeople over the years, living here and making beautiful things, mainly all things wooden! As much as we love that, news from the woods is that a new crafty venture is occurring, this time in clay! We’re super excited to be welcoming Yoni to move here in September and become our resident potter. So this year during WWWW (working with wood week) Yoni and Tom, with expert help from Frank, Phil and Lola built something rather crucial to the creation of pottery…a wood fired kiln. The first kiln we’ve ever had in the woods, we’re very excited! Keep an eye out for updates on this project, and the arrival of Yoni, and the start of the clay revolution in the woods.
