First Element - Fire Day with Primal Trail

Experience a day journeying with fire:

A full day exploring your connection to the oldest element on the planet.

Before all else, there was Fire.

Join former Firefighter Gazza to immerse yourself in the skills and lore that have always bound our people to this powerful ally.

Our collective connection to Fire goes back at least 2 million years, and in that time the ways we have lit, tended, utilised, loved and worshipped this oldest of elemental forces has always defined us as humans.

For my part, as an ex-firefighter, developing and practicing the art of fire in it's many forms has taken me full-circle.

Come and join me in an exploration of who we are and rediscover our oldest ally.

We will explore many ways to kindle a flame, some modern, some ancient. Expect sparks, friction and even a sun-ray or two if we are lucky!

We aim to teach you to develop a dependable skillset so you can reliably and safely build, light, use and tend down your fire.

We will refine our use of various fire lays and configurations along with the gear that goes with it to create hearth and home.
