Woodland Fungi - Death or dinner

Fungus hunts for beginners: (3/4 - 1mile), learning about and identifying mushrooms and toadstools, with the emphasis on edible and poisonous ones.

Adults £15 - Children (6-15years) £6 - Children (0-5 years) free. 10% discount for members, or if you’ll struggle to pay the full amount.

The emphasis is on identification and understanding rather than foraging - you may go away with one or two to cook later, but this cannot be guaranteed, and safety and conservation are always placed first. We can never be sure what we’ll find, as it depends on the weather.

Accompanied children welcome. Please bring babies in backpacks rather than buggies if possible.  Wear appropriate outdoor gear – we are not put off by rain!  No dogs please.

Let me know about walking difficulties/wheelchairs.

Numbers are restricted, therefore booking is essential.

Please contact course leader, Anne Yarrow to book: 07562 231235 or anney779@gmail.com and then pay by cheque or BACS to confirm your place.

Proceeds are donated to Doctors for Nepal www.doctorsfornepal.org.uk
