Streamside Glade
Escape from it all by hiring Streamside glade for a day-time barbeque or an over-night camp out.
It has a fire-pit, grill, small shelter, picnic table and nearby compost toilet. There are beautiful views out to the nearby meadow. You can pitch up to three small to medium-sized tents (not ideal for bell-tents).
It takes about 20 minutes to walk down there and is a steep climb back up the hill, so pack light. There is no drinking water but you can fill up your bottles up top in the Cook House.
Cost to hire the glade for a BBQ during the day-time is £50 for up to 10 people for up to four hours. To hire it for camping overnight is £25 plus £5.00 per person and £5.00 per crate of logs. From midday-11am.
Please note - although deep in our wood, you are perhaps closer to our neighbours than you might think. This area is not suitable for overnight parties.
