Horreo Cabin Progress
As you may have seen on previous posts, work on the Horreo Cabins has been progressing since the beginning of the year. The first frame was raised during our June Stewardship Saturday, and Flo, Will and team have been chipping away at the second frame since then. The pressure was on to get things ready for a raise during Working With Wood Week in July and we are delighted that their dedication meant this was a possibility. Not only was the frame raised, but by the end of the volunteer week, floors were down on both cabins and we were able to celebrate the end of an amazing week by sharing a toast up in the tree tops.
The cabins will be available for people to stay in from next year - watch this space for further updates!
