First wooden frame in place

If you have come to visit over the Easter Holidays, you will have noticed the large wooden frame being built by Aiden, Dan, Flo and Stan in the courtyard outside the barn. These timbers will start to form the first two wooden cabins (Horreos) that are going up in the woods.

It was a significant moment when last Thursday, the team came together to move the first part of the frame into position.

The plan is that these frames will be available for members of the woods to use from the end of the year, for people coming to get involved in the woods, either on a course, or for a longer stay as a volunteer. One of the cabins will be wheelchair accessible and we can’t wait to start welcoming people once the building is finished!
