Green Woodworking half-day drop off workshops for young people

This autumn half term sees the launch of a new woodworking opportunity for children and young people at Wilderness Wood.

On Tuesday the 27th and Wednesday the 28th of October come spend some time in the wood exploring the joy of working with green wood in a supportive child centered space.

We work in small groups of max 8 and although I might make suggestions, I do not dictate the projects so each young person is free to develop their own ideas and make things to suit their interests, needs and abilities. I support and guide each child with their own project and hold the space so everyone feels safe and free to learn and explore in a non-judgmental environment.

There will be a morning and an afternoon session on both days.  It will be possible to book for one session, as well as two sessions on consecutive days, which allows for slightly larger projects.

Morning session from 10 to 12.30

Afternoon session from 13.30 to 4pm

Each session is charged at £20.
