Wilderness Wood design and build team raise a barn frame in Kent

The framing team (Dan, Nick, Shaun, Aidan, Jake, Frank sporting team work jackets made by Nick!) have completed the framing phase of a beautiful chestnut barn-office for a garden in Kent.  They set off to raise the frame with much excitement and some trepidation about whether all the huge trusses would fit together.   They did.  And look amazing.  Thanks also to John Russell – master timber-framer from Lewes who offered an experienced head and hand to the frame-raising day.  You can see a short video of the dramatic moments.    Next jobs are floor, roof, walls…easy!
