Beautiful hand-made and decorated tiles for the new sink in the Cook House

We have upgraded the sink in the Cook House – turns out there’s a reason why people don’t use troughs for their kitchen sinks.  Anyway – it’s given us a chance to work out what we really need for group washing up so now is much more functional AND – we have used tiles made and decorated by participants in last summer’s working-with-wood-week – a workshop which was devised and led by the brilliant Adele Scantlebury and Martin Brockman of Blackbird Arts.  Hope we can host some artistic washing up sessions very soon.
