timber framing begins for a home studio in kent

In spite of corona, the home-team, as one household, is able to carry on with an exciting timber framing project – constructing a barn which will be assembled in a garden in Kent, near Seven Oaks, as a home office studio (this could be the future…).   The chestnut timber is sourced from Wilderness Wood and the woodland surrounding the garden in Kent where it will finally rest.   The family are helping – from a distance – by making chestnut pegs for the structure.   The team is benefitting from expert advice from the experienced and knowledgeable Lewes-based, timber framer, John Russell.
